ABOUT TROOP 474

     BSA Troop 474, chartered to Harundale Presbyertian Church, located in Glen Burnie, Maryland meets on Thursday evenings in the Church Meeting Hall.  Scouts are expected to attend meetings in full uniform.  Troop 474 follows the guidelines and training supplied through Four Rivers District and the Baltimore Area Council, as well as the Boy Scouts of America national offices to provide a quality program for our sons.  One of the primary goals is developing character through a fun outdoor program.  In order to accomplish this, the BOYS of the Troop set their collective goals for the year.  Troop rules follow the twelve points of the Scout Law and the Scout Oath.

     BSA Troop 474 is part of the Four Rivers District of the Baltimore Area Council.  Our Order of the Arrow Lodge is Nentico Lodge 12.  Our yearly summer camp is usually always set at our Council camp, Broad Creek Memorial Scout Reservation.

     BSA Troop 474 has not forgotten our troops overseas and actively support them by collecting funds and supplies for backpacks as part of the Wounded Warrior program.  For more information, please see the Wounded Warriors.
